With over 33 years of international experience, Dr. Abdo Kattan brings a unique blend of clinical precision and patient-first care to Ever Square Eye Clinic. Born and raised in Lebanon, Dr. Kattan moved to Spain at age 18, where he completed his Doctor of Optometry in Barcelona and later earned a Master’s degree in Vision Sciences in Madrid.

Dr. Kattan is known for his calm, detail-driven approach and his dedication to patient education. His clinical interests include dry eye management, binocular vision, and complex vision cases that require advanced diagnostics and custom care.

Outside the clinic, he’s passionate about charity fundraising for families in need, and enjoys spending time with his wife and children. When he's not helping patients, you’ll likely find him reading, watching movies, or quietly investing in his community's well-being.

Dr. Kattan is fluent in English, Arabic, Spanish, and Catalan, and is proud to offer care that’s not only comprehensive but also culturally inclusive.

Corina is a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant with a strong background in dispensing and patient care. She enjoys helping patients with all their vision needs, from selecting frames to understanding their prescriptions, and takes pride in ensuring every patient feels comfortable and informed throughout their visit. 

What Corina loves most about working in eye care is the opportunity to help people improve their quality of life through better vision. She values being part of a collaborative, supportive practice and enjoys contributing to a positive patient experience. 

Outside of work, Corina enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with family and friends. 

Hannah is an Optometric Assistant who is passionate about helping patients feel heard, comfortable, and well cared for. She enjoys the patient-facing aspects of her role and values the strong team spirit within the clinic. 

She appreciates working in an environment where kindness and patient care are prioritized and enjoys learning and growing within the eye care field. 

Outside the clinic, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends and relaxing with her favourite shows. 

Lauren is an Optometric Assistant who enjoys working closely with patients and supporting the clinical team. She values providing attentive, compassionate care and helping patients feel at ease during their visits. 

Lauren appreciates being part of a collaborative practice and enjoys learning more about eye care each day. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, staying active, and relaxing in her downtime.

Athena enjoys working in eye care because it allows her to help patients with their vision needs while being part of a supportive and patient-focused team. She finds fulfillment in assisting patients throughout their appointments and contributing to a smooth, positive experience. 

She values the practice's sense of community and enjoys continuing to build her skills in the optometric field. 

In her free time, Athena enjoys spending time with loved ones and relaxing at home.

Zahira, also known as Zee, is a passionate Frame Stylist and Ophthalmic Lens Sales Specialist who loves helping patients look and feel confident in their eyewear. She is drawn to the optical industry because it allows her to connect with people and make a meaningful impact on their everyday lives by helping them see clearly and express their personal style. 

Zee thrives in an environment where patient relationships come first and values being part of a practice that feels like family. She enjoys contributing to a fun, positive atmosphere where patients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. 

Coming from a large, lively family, Zee is naturally outgoing and never shies away from a good conversation. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her closest friends—whom she considers her soul sisters—as well as cooking, dancing, travelling, attending summer goddess retreats, and cheering on her favourite NFL team, the Seahawks.

Amanda brings warmth, empathy, and years of hands-on experience to her role as a Receptionist and Optometric Assistant. She has known since her teenage years that she wanted to work in healthcare and has spent the past 15 years building a meaningful career in the eye care industry. 

What Amanda enjoys most about her work is the opportunity to connect with patients and build genuine rapport. She finds fulfillment in knowing she plays a role in helping others see clearly and feel their best. At the practice, she takes pride in helping create a welcoming environment rooted in kindness, respect, and a shared commitment to excellent patient care. She also values the opportunity to learn new skills and continuously grow within her role. 

Outside of work, Amanda is a proud cat mom to her grey tabby, Asher. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching TV series or movies, and cheering on the Oilers.

With over 16 years in the optical industry, Amy brings experience, adaptability, and a great sense of style to her role as Ever Square Eye Care’s in-house lab tech and eyewear stylist. She loves how the field is always evolving, and she thrives on thinking outside the box to find the perfect fit for each patient.

Amy is drawn to the family-like atmosphere of the clinic and genuinely enjoys connecting with the patients she helps every day.

Outside of work, Amy is a passionate music fan; you’ll often find her at live concerts and festivals when she’s not busy gardening or spending time with her husband, two daughters, one dog, and three cats.
